La Fondazione Bartolomeo Gatto ETS insieme alla Fondazione Mida e con il contributo della Fondazione Carisal, hanno organizzato una rappresentazione teatrale di beneficenza presso le Grotte di Pertosa.
Lo spettacolo teatrale, che ha ottenuto il patrocinio della Curia Arcivescovile, della Regione Campania, dei Comuni di Auletta e di Pertosa, racconta un suggestivo viaggio attraverso i secoli e ci mostra le grotte sotto una diversa prospettiva.

Il ricavato dello spettacolo sarà devoluto interamente all’associazione S.O.S. Infanzia Negata Onlus, per il progetto " Villaggio Chimwemwe" (villaggio del sorriso) nel distretto di Dedza in Malawi, per accogliere i bambini più poveri a partire dai due anni di età.

The art of Bartolomeo Gatto, appreciated for its originality and expository completeness, has been related over time to names such as Picasso and Pollock.
The artist's cycle of the Pietre Amanti is particularly well known, here in an unpublished version.
The voluminous geometric shapes of vermilion shades in counterpoint to the lively colors of his land, pile up together in a sensual and mineralized reciprocity.

Il Cigno presents "Canvases, colors, emotions" a journey to discover the latest works by Bartolomeo Gatto.
From February 19th to April 30th 2016, the large canvases tell stories outside the obligatory patterns of everyday life and the space is pervaded by transparent and elusive atmospheres.
Bartolomeo Gatto paints earthly paradises, masses colored by light, spells that he discovers from within and that he grasps.
Matter is flexible, sensitive, pervaded with life.
Observing these works, ancestral motifs come to mind where everything happens because color and memory travel in harmony.
